Property protection consulting

Since Hungary joined the European Union in 2004, market competition has intensified significantly, the competitors usually competing on the same level, operating and surviving in the same environment among the same conditions, and often, with the same “hardware”. The decisive factor is often the human one, therefore consulting firms and organisational psychology experts always emphasize the competence, loyalty and commitment of a company’s employees.
It must be kept in mind that competitors constantly need news and information regarding the other companies on the market, especially about strategic plans, commercial goals and human strategies. In ninety percent of the cases this need can be satisfied from legal sources, but for the remaining ten percent, companies tend to turn to illegal sources – like covert agents, purchasing information, brain drain, circulating negative rumours through the company grapevine – to undermine a competitor’s feeling of security. 
Since structural and human security questions are essential today, the following must be ensured in a company organization:
a sense of mission;

  • in order to maintain a competitive position, this formula must be used: information + security = competitive power;
  • the other competitors must be constantly monitored, examined and evaluated in order to see the level of threat that comes from their tactics and strategy;
  • the necessary market, economic and organisational information must be gathered to sustain the competitive position;
  • management should be able to effectively manage the company’s internal and external threats and risks.

As to human resources, the organization must ensure:

  • definition of the risk quotient (evaluation of the security risks of human resources = economic security);
  • the competencies of human security requirements;
  • the priority of loyalty and trustworthiness;
  • that the employees remain loyal to the company during crisis situations as well and are ready to cope with the different circumstances;
  • that the employees have the appropriate security clearance that corresponds to confidentiality rules and the employees’ position;
  • that the employee complies with his or her non-compete obligations after having terminated his or her employment;
  • that the human security checks are planned and updated.

As a result of our consulting activities, our clients will get answers to these questions:
